Stephanie Peterson, BCBA

My name is Stephanie Peterson and I am the lead BCBA at Real Hope Real Help. I am extremely passionate about working with children and adolescents and find that seeing them progress towards their goals and helping them live to their fullest potential is the most rewarding aspect of my job. I have a very hands-on approach when working with children and those involved in their daily lives.

I have been working in ABA for over 4 years, first as an RBT and now as a BCBA. As an RBT, I worked directly with a variety of clients with autism and other emotional and behavioral difficulties in many different settings including clinical, in-home, in-community, and in-school. My experiences with ABA have been focused around supporting children, providing functional communication training, improving social skills, and training parents/staff/educators.

I truly believe that clients are best served when a partnership with family is established, and family is incorporated into therapy. The family plays a unique role and, when fully engaged, has the ability to amplify and generalize the progress we make during sessions to the client’s everyday life. I believe that this holistic approach leads to the greatest long-term outcomes, and I am very excited to share this journey with you.

I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of North Texas majoring in Rehabilitation Studies and minoring in Counseling. I completed my Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University.

If you ever have any questions or topics you would like to discuss, please feel free to contact me. I am very excited to work with you and your children!
